Bill Richardson’s Friend ‘Tokyo’ Rosie O’Donnell

Let’s get to the issues that fire me up and deplete the blogsphere.

  

Bill Richardson has put a great amount of energy into making himself look like a moderate or center right democrat. These manipulations of his image, and the truth, have done wonders for him here in New Mexico. Yet, actions speak louder than words and there is no greater action to showcase Bill Richardson’s left-wing side then his friendship with Tokyo Rosie O’Donnell.

According to the Albuquerque Journal, the Richardson for President campaign has received financial support from Tokyo Rosie. On her show “The View”, Rosie spouts anti-American vomit and conspiracy theory hysteria despite the facts or the truth. Let’s take a look at a few of these moments:

1. Here is a video clip of Rosie O’Donnell going off the deep end by hinting at American government involvement in the 9-11 World Trade Center attacks. She actually says that she has ”no idea” who attacked us on 9-11! Is this what a Bill Richardson administration would be about?

2. Here is a clip of Rosie actually arguing that Iran’s taking of British hostages was a set up by our own side! Is this what Bill Richardson believes?

3. Here is a clip of Rosie actually siding with our terrorist enemies over our own military! Is this viewpoint the same as Bill Richardson’s?

4. Here is a clip showing Rosie’s contempt for our 2nd amendment rights. I thought Bill Richardson was supposed to be a pro-gun democrat yet he takes money from Rosie. Is Bill Richardson really in favor of gun control?

Bill Richardson is NOT a moderate. He has manipulated his image to cast him as one. Yet, actions speak louder than words:

1. He advocates for strong border security yet signed into law drivers’ licenses and taxpayer funded college scholarships for illegal aliens. He also signed an executive order prohibiting New Mexico law enforcement agencies from enforcing immigration law;

2. He boasts that he is a tax cutting democrat. Yet, as New Mexico Governor our tax burden as increased overall by $174 million. While he did cut taxes on income and capital gains he also raised taxes on gross receipts, insurance premiums, gas, special fuels, hunting fees, fishing fees, vehicle registration fees, nursing home beds, health insurance premiums and etc;

3. While campaigning for Governor, Bill Richardson said that he opposed the state recognizing homosexual marriage. Yet, after winning re-election, he attempted to sneak a ‘domestic partners’ bill that would lead to legalized homosexual marriage;

You can tell a lot about a person by the company they keep and their actions. Bill Richardson keeps company with those who spout 9-11 conspiracy theories and side with our terrorist enemies. Bill Richardson says one thing but does another. It appears that John Kerry is no longer the king of flip flops.  

(NOTE: It is a shame that the New Mexico Republican Party did not feel it necessary to pounce on the Richardson-O’Donnell connection.)
