Let’s get to the issues that fire me up and deplete the blogsphere.
(Sorry that I have not been blogging as often as I used too. Since my move I have been very busy getting established. I will begin to blog again as much as I can. It will not be daily for a while as it used to be. Be patient and thank you for reading. -Dean)

Congressman Steve Pearce’s radical/left-wing opponent, Billy Boy McCamley, recently filed his first campaign finance report exposing those who back Mr. McCamley’s agenda of radicalism and socialist policy. Mr. McCamley raised about $140,000 in his leftist crusade. This only shows that we must double our efforts and prepare for political war to defend Steve Pearce and our conservative values.
As a native son of Hobbs, NM it was sad that the following Lea County, New Mexico residents gave against their own native son, Steve Pearce, therefore declaring their support for the left-wing radicalism of Bill McCamley:

1. JOHNNY COPE-As a long time Democratic goon Mr. Cope is notorious for using the state’s private jet for his own personal purposes as well as a past drug conviction. The Albuquerque Journal recently did an investigative story on Mr. Cope which recently hinted at ‘fishy’ business dealings and police reports of a alleged abuse. Mr. Cope gave the left-wing Mr. McCamley $2,300;
(Once can judge a persons character on the company they keep and it is apparent that Mr. McCamley keeps lesser company. Tony Soprano would have been a far more moral choice than Mr. Cope.)
2. MARTY COPE-Mr. Cope’s wife and former Lea County Democratic party. Her record as Lea County Democrat party chair was pathetic due to no major gains in Lea County in the 2004 and 2006 elections. She gave the left-wing Mr. McCamley $2,300;
3. HARRY TEAGUE-Mr. Teague, a former Democratic Lea County Commissioner, gave the left-wing Mr. McCamley $2,300. Mr. Teague has often portrayed himself as a conservative Democrat. Yet, his financial backing of such left-wing radicals as John Kerry, Bill Richardson and now Mr. McCamley only show his true colors. One has to ask whether Mr. Teague is a conservative in name only, especially since he plans to run as a ‘conservative Democrat’ in 2008 for a certain legislative seat;
4. TROY TEAGUE-Troy Teague, son of Dingy Harry, gave the left-wing Mr. McCamley $2,300 as well. It has been rumored that Troy has wanted to run for office as a Republican, since that is how he is registered. However, Troy’s financial donations to the radical leftist McCamley should forever blacken his name among the Republican fold in Lea County;
And of course, you have Bill Richardson’s rabble donating to oust Congressman Pearce. Richardson’s presidential campaign manager, David Contarino, gave $500. Herb Denish, Diane Denish’s husband, gave the left-wing McCamley $1,000.
In Lea County, some Republicans who have supported both Congressman Pearce have also supported Bill Richardson. They will soon have to make a very public choice in the 2008 elections thanks to the involvement of Governor Richardson’s machine.
The choice is to either support a radical, left-wing machine that thrives on corruption while promoting homosexual/transgender marriage, gun control, drivers licenses for illegal aliens and socialist politics. Or, to continue to support Lea County’s own Steve Pearce and his support of a policy of limited government, low taxes, reform, states rights, traditional marriage, gun rights and free enterprise.
For all those who do not reside in Lea County but want to see who gave to the left-wing McCamley just go to www.fec.gov and search under ‘Bill McCamley’.

It’s over! The Live Earth concert series to bring ‘awareness’ to global warming is over! Nothing gets people motivated to roll up their sleeves and get to work to save the planet then getting them to drive their gas burning cars long distances to massive concerts that uses extra energy for lighting and equipment to drink beer, do drugs and listen to music. Yes, nothing saves the planet like going to a concert and partying instead of actual work.
More importantly, it wouldn’t have been a left-wing gathering to celebrate the new false religion that is global warming hysteria without liberal hypocrisy.
It seems that limousine liberal Hollywood/Rock stars don’t like to practice what they preach to the rest of us. Even environmentalist John Buckley of carbonfootprint.com said it best when he stated, “On the one hand, Live Earth wouldn’t be able to get such a large audience without high-profile stars, but then sometimes you wonder if they are the best people because they do live an affluent (therefore ‘evil’ to people like Mr. Buckley) lifestyle.”
Let’s take a look at some of these examples of this global warming hypocrisy:
1. Madonna supported and preformed at Live Earth. Yet, according to Mr. Buckly, the ‘material girl’ owns a fleet of cars including a gas-guzzling Range Rover;
2. Snoop Dogg, who played at the Live Earth concert in Hamburg, Germany, has also appeared in ads for Chrysler vehicles;
3. Most of the major performers, like the Red Hot Chili Peppers, were flown to their Live Earth concert destinations via private jets;
Of course, Live Earth’s organizers stated that they were going to calculate the volume of carbon emissions created and then then “offset” the difference by investing in such things as planting trees or making donations to renewable energy projects. How quiant.
This was just another opportunity for radicals to push their ant-business and anti-science agenda on individuals by using rock stars and music.Global warming hysteria is a religion. A religion that makes business, hard work, success, freedom and limited government look evil. The saddest part of this whole false religion is that most ordinary people will believe it because their favorite band played at one of these ridiculous concerts. They couldn’t tell you anything about the science, proposed policies and etc.
Remember, these are the same radicals who falsely warned of a ‘global freezing’ in the 1970s. These are the same radicals who linked hurricanes to global warming making ’super storms’ and even predicted 13-16 named storms, 8-10 hurricanes, and 4-6 major hurricanes for the United States during the 2006 Hurricane season. Yet, in 2006, we saw only 9 named-storms, 5 hurricanes, and 2 major hurricanes. None hit the U.S. by the way.
Many people simply believe in this myth and accept unnecessary and false guilt so they can ‘do something’ that will make them ‘feel better about themselves.’ To ‘feel good about themselves’ is the real reason why people believe in this new and false religion. However, I did enjoy some of the highlights shown of the Live Earth concerts because the provided me with a good laugh at the fact that these people are just…..dorks. For example, the concert organizers showed a video tour of an ‘environmentally friendly’ bungalow in Bucks County, Pennsylvania. The video showed the hemp sofa and a how you can wrap gifts with old potato chip bags. Great for pot smoking hippies. Finally, the most ridiculous statement of the entire Live Earth event came from actor Kevin Bacon who stated that Live Earth was the biggest global event ever. I guess allied victory in World War II doesn’t count.The march of the blind continues.
There is a good movie out there. It has been out there a while but it may be out on video soon. It tells the story of William Wilberforce, a British Member of Parliament, who, with the help of his Christian faith, led the uphill battle to outlaw slavery in the British Empire in the early 19th century. One of my favorite actors, Albert Finney, plays John Newton, the former slave trader who finds God and then becomes an abolitionist who writes the now famous hymn Amazing Grace and acts as a mentor to Wilberforce. It is a great story and it shows how great deeds come at great sacrifice and hard fights.
